SNEED, Circuit Judge: This is an appeal by defendant Ministry of Public Works, Republic of Uruguay (""Ministry""), from a default judgment in the sum of $428,904.86 entered in favor of appellee Republic International Corporation (""Republic""), a Delaware corporation, for damages for breach of contract. Appellee filed its complaint against appellant and other defendants on June 1, 1972, alleging federal jurisdiction on the ground of diversity of citizenship, 28 U.S.C. Â§ 1332(a)(2). The trial court denied Ministry's motions to dismiss and to quash service of summons pursuant to F.R.C.P. 12(b)(1), 12(b)(2), 12(b)(5), and 12(b)(6) and further denied its motion to certify an interlocutory appeal from the order of denial. Thereafter, the Ministry filed a document of withdrawal from the suit. Entry of the default judgment followed, and Ministry filed this appeal.
